Step-by-step guides for using Journal Club effectively

Adding Your First Study

  1. Click "Add Study" in the sidebar or go to the Add Study page
  2. Upload a PDF, paste a DOI, or use the Chrome extension
  3. Review the extracted metadata and edit if needed
  4. Save the study to your library or a specific folder

Organizing with Folders

  1. Click the + button next to "Folders" in the sidebar
  2. Name your folder (e.g., "Cardiology Rotation", "Research Project")
  3. When adding a study, select the folder from the dropdown
  4. Double-click a folder name to rename it

Reviewing AI Analysis

  1. Open any study in your library
  2. Review the AI-generated PICO summary
  3. Check the critical appraisal section
  4. Edit any fields to add your own notes
